Preventive care and nonbiopsy diagnosis
Our diagnostic procedures are characterised by the fact that we avoid tissue sampling, where possible, to prevent puncture-related spreading of tumour stem cells. Tumour stem cells being washed from one circulation system into another could be a risk or undesired adverse effect of a biopsy.
Tissue emits molecular components into the blood stream. We can characterise these parts molecular-specifically in the blood stream with Cellpredikt®-test (Realtime Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction / RT-PCR) and diagnostic apheresis. Additionally, we use imaging procedures such as elastography. This permits the timely diagnosis of cell differentiation impairment and the planning of corresponding target-specific therapy.
